Can't We Deport Donald Trump Instead?

For many months, Donald Trump has been talking about being “the change of this nation” in a positive way, but the foundation of his presidency stands on his immigration plan to build a wall on the southern border of the US, to send immigrants back to their home countries, and to end birthright citizenship. His immigration plan is an insult to millions of Americans whose families were built on the shoulders of immigrants.
If one thoroughly goes in detail of the actual plan, it is with great conclusion that Donald Trump should not be president.
One part of his immigration plan is to build a wall on the southern border of the United States that Trump wants Mexico to pay the price of building the wall. He claims that it’s Mexico’s fault for all the negative impacts on the United States from foreign countries. According to Trump’s website it states that “Mexico’s leaders have been taking advantage of the United States by using illegal immigration to export the crime and poverty in their own country.”
This is absurd in many ways. For starters, people who leave to the United States are not always rapists, robbers, or drug addicts. According to the Pew Research Center, the crime rate for first-generation immigrants is significantly lower than second-generation families.
Immigrants come from all around the world in various ways, so building a wall between Mexico and the United States will not guarantee that it’ll stop immigrants from coming in. Mr. Trump is trying to recreate history as it is clear that he wants something similar to the Berlin Wall but as you can see, the Berlin Wall failed in 1989.
Another huge part of his immigration plan is to send every “alien” back to their home countries. There is a huge problem with this statement. If he was to send all immigrants back to their home country, what will happened to their American children? Many children in this country are born from immigrants. Trump is going to hurt these children emotionally and mentally by tearing families apart.
Isn’t America supposed to open its doors to the world and be the beacon of hope? The reason why many immigrants migrate to the United States is to find a better life and to escape the harsh conditions that lies in their country. For instance, people from El Salvador are migrating to the U.S. because of gang violence that is currently occurring. About a month ago, gangs have killed over 100 innocents with no qualified reason.Would one stay in a place that puts their life in danger? Of course not. That is why many immigrants come to the U.S.
Donald Trump is just plain wrong about immigrants.
Many immigrants have been working hard in the U.S living a safe and happy life. Trumps immigration plan would be taking that away. Trump should not deport people who are working hard, people who are not causing crimes and chaos, and especially people who are trying to make America a better place.
Many who side with Trump claim that immigrants have come to take away American jobs. In reality, immigrants take the jobs MOST Americans would not want to do because it was too much for them or it was a low paying job. WIthout immigrants, most people in the United States would not have food on their plates that thousands of immigrants pick out from the fields for countless hours a day just for the people of America to eat. Immigrants also build the homes of many Americans. They mainly work in construction to build what many Americans would not want to build because it is low paying and dangerous.
The way Donald Trump talks about immigrants is complete propaganda. Donald Trump should not be generalizing immigrants, they are not all the same. Everyone single immigrant is different and this plan makes immigrants sounds like the worst human beings known to man. This immigration plan will become a huge problem if Donald Trump becomes president.
This isn’t a game, people need to realize that this plan is practically stating how Donald Trump views foreign people.
